Heli Niugini operates a large diversified fleet of Helicopters from the Bell 206-L3 to the Mil 8 AMT/ MTV helicopter. The Company has an active replacement program for its light helicopters, with the replacement of its B206-L3 fleet with the Bell 407. This program was completed by 2014 with a complement of five latest generation aircraft all within 10 years old.

HNL was the first company to introduce the BK117 -750 helicopter to PNG. In 2010 HNL introduced the BK117-850 variant developed by Airwork for the market to cater for Cat A / P1 requirements. Currently HNL has the largest fleet of BK117 helicopters in both -750 and the -850 variant.

HNL has agreements with other operators of specialised helicopters that can be mobilised to country as required by our  client. These include helicopter types not normally seen in the region, such as the MIL 26, S64F / E Skycrane and S61.

All Passenger aircraft can also be reconfigured to EMS roles with stretchers. With specialised fittings and equipment, we can also perform hoisting, IFR and Night Operations.
